What Are Guided Retreats?

Sometimes the soul needs more than an hour or an evening. Guided retreats at Common Sanctuary offer extended time for rest, reflection, and attentive listening. Rooted in the contemplative tradition, these retreats create a gentle rhythm of silence, prayer, and personal reflection, along with opportunities for group sharing and guidance.

Each retreat is designed to help participants step away from the noise and demands of daily life and make space to notice the presence of God. Retreats may be offered online or in person and can vary in length, from a half day to a full weekend.
